Misha Dacic
Dopo il suo debutto americano alla Discovery Series del Miami International Piano Festival nel 2003, Dacić divenne rapidamente un ricercato solista che catturò il pubblico in tutti gli Stati Uniti esibendosi in locali come Ravinia’s Rising Stars Series a Chicago, Gilmore Keyboard Festival, Steinway Hall New York, Xavier Classical Piano Series a Cincinnati, Frederic Chopin Society’s Concert Series a Minneapolis, e molti altri.
Si è esibito in recital solisti e come solista ospite in tutta l’America centrale e meridionale, Europa, Russia, Medio Oriente e Giappone. Ha suonato al “Martha Argerich Project Festival” a Lugano, nella casa di Mendelssohn a Lipsia, al Sergiu Celibidache Festival di Bucarest, al Festival “Raritäten der Klaviermusik” di Husum, al Festival Internazionale di pianoforte En Blanco & Negro a Città del Messico, alla Oji Hall di Tokyo e con la Brazilian Symphony Orchestra al Teatro Municipal di Rio de Janeiro.
Nel 2009 è entrato ha suonato in duo con la leggendaria violinista Ida Haendel in un tour in Giappone, esibendosi da allora in tutto il mondo. Uno dei loro concerti è stato pubblicato su un DVD pubblicato da VAI. “Misha Dacić in Recital”, con diverse esibizioni dal vivo, è stato pubblicato sempre dal VAI nel 2009. Per celebrare il 200 ° anniversario di Franz Liszt nel 2011, l’album Liszt di Dacić, distribuito da Piano Classics, è stato accolto con grande favore dalla critica mondiale: “Sorprendente forza e padronanza del temperamento” (Bryce Morrison, Gramophone). Nel 2016 Dacić ha tenuto la prima dei suoi due arrangiamenti per pianoforte di Rachmaninoff Choral Symphony ‘The Bells’ al Rachmaninoff estate museum di Ivanovka, Russia, ed è stato nominato direttore artistico del Rahmaninoff Festival.
Misha Dacić attualmente insegna come professore di pianoforte presso l’Academia Ivan Galamian a Malaga, e alla Escuela Internacional de Musica Alberto Jonas a Valencia, in Spagna.

Dacić appeared in solo recitals as well as a guest soloist throughout Central and South America, Europe, Russia, Middle East and Japan. He performed at the “Martha Argerich Project Festival” in Lugano, at Mendelssohn’s house in Leipzig, at Sergiu Celibidache Festival in Bucharest, at the Festival “Raritäten der Klaviermusik” in Husum, at the International Piano Festival En Blanco & Negro in Mexico City, at the Oji Hall in Tokyo, and with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra at Teatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2009 he joined the legendary violinist Ida Haendel on a tour in Japan, performing with her all over the world ever since. One of their live performances was captured on a DVD released by VAI. “Misha Dacić in Recital”, featuring several live performances, was also released by VAI in 2009. Celebrating Franz Liszt’s 200th anniversary in 2011, Dacić’s Liszt album, released by Piano Classics, was greatly received by the critic worldwide – ‘Startling temperamental force and mastery’ (Bryce Morrison, Gramophone). In 2018, Brilliant Classics released Dacić’s album feauturing works by A. Scriabin.
In 2016 Dacić gave a premier of his two piano arrangement of Rachmaninoff Choral Symphony ‘The Bells’ at Rachmaninoff estate museum in Ivanovka, Russia, and was appointed artistic director of the Rahmaninoff Festival at the same venue.
Born into a family with musical tradition, and having taken first lessons from his father, Misha Dacić has been performing in public since the age of ten. Kemal Gekić, Lazar Berman, and Jorge Luis Prats are counted among his mentors.
Misha Dacić holds his current posts as professor of piano at the Academia Ivan Galamian in Malaga, and at Escuela Internacional de Musica Alberto Jonas in Valencia, Spain.
